Frock star Matthew Williamson’s new collection with Osborne & Little is fit for a modern castle.
The hand-drawn Ceramica pattern from Matthew Williamson’s new wallpaper and fabrics collection for Osborne & Little takes inspiration from the porcelain on display at Belvoir Castle in England.
“I can just imagine my muse for the collection stepping out from a party at Belvoir Castle,” fashion designer Matthew Williamson says of his new Belvoir Fabrics & Wallpaper collection with Osborne & Little. Nestled in the English Midlands, the castle and its rich history of opulent fabrics, chinoiserie wallpapers and stately grounds informed the 11 textiles and nine wallpapers that tell Belvoir’s visual story, from its delicate ceramics collection to its manicured orangeries. Patterns such as Rosanna Trellis (inspired by English gardens) and Ceramica (depicting trompe l’oeil collections of antique plates) nod to a historic heritage, yet are punctuated with Williamson’s modern pops of vibrant color. The designs are hand-drawn by the designer, offering a picture-perfect finish to your own palace. 979 Third Ave., Ste. 520, osborneandlittle.com
