Check out Zoo Lights at the National Zoo
Over 500,000 environmentally friendly LED lights twinkle and shine at the National Zoo for the annual festival. New this year, is a glow-in-the-dark play zone and a European-style holiday market. Zoo Lights runs through January 1st.

This Shaw pop-up bar is back for another year of festive fun. This year, expect to see additions like a full-sized sleigh and a “Chinese and a Movie” room, paying homage to the Jewish Hanukkah tradition in many households.
Get Frosty at the Gaylord’s ICE! Exhibit
Every year, the Gaylord National Resort installs two million pounds of ice, including sculptures, four ice slides, and a Nativity scene made of ice, at their facility. The theme rotates yearly and 2017 features the iconic movie Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
