The American Heart Association brings its black-tie Heart Ball to the District to celebrate triumphs against heart disease. With a cocktail reception, a silent and live auction, dinner and dancing to Retrospect, honor this year’s three Heart Heroes: two members of the U.S. Air Force and a cardiac surgeon who founded the Living Heart Foundation.
