Degas’ “dancer” series served as the perfect complement to The Washington Ballet, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of its treasured annual performance of The Nutcracker. Guests enjoyed sweet treats during the festivities, including a lipstick and blush “bar” by Le Métier de Beauté, and live jazz in the Music Room, courtesy of the Yvonne Johnson Trio.
